How does VELUX work?

Painless laser system for hair removal

The VELUX laser is extremely effective in removing unwanted hair. One laser system uses Alexandrite (755 nm) and Diode (808 nm) wavelengths.

 

The interaction of the two wavelengths effectively affects the hair follicle and avoids the adverse effects of epidermal melanin. The treatment with VELUX is suitable for all skin and hair types, with only minimal pain.

 

The operating range of the nozzle of the VELUX laser system is the maximum operating range that can be selectively adjusted at the same time, depending on the zone in which the procedure is performed. The procedure is performed quickly, and painlessly, and there is no need to use additional gels or anesthetics.

Results with VELUX laser

The VELUX laser system can be used to remove hair from the face, legs, underarms, bikini area, and other parts of the body. Hair removal with this system is not only effective but also comfortable - almost painless.

Technical characteristics

Thanks to Smart Target Motion, the laser beam is randomly distributed into 5 zones of the operating area, making the procedure almost painless and easily tolerated by patients.

Motion Scanning Technology (MST)

It is the latest generation technology that is making a difference in the laser market: the nozzle emits a 50x15mm beam consisting of 75 lines.

  • Painless hair removal.  High energy density (2,400W / cm2)

  • High energy in a short pulse duration  (Max: 100J / cm2, short pulse: 3ms)

  • Fast operation (50 x 15mm area affected in 0.5 ~ 1.5 seconds; same area to operate again  available in less than 8 minutes)

The hair is exposed in 5 different places. This gives the skin enough TRT (temperature release time) and at the same time releases enough heat to remove the hair.

Interaction of two wavelengths

Suitable for all skin and hair types

  1. Alexandrite (755nm) waves absorb much more energy, excellent results in removing light and fine hairs

  2. Diode (808nm) wavelength has optimal melanin absorption characteristics, so it can be used for all skin types. 

Two wavelengths acting simultaneously help to remove different types of hair. Removes even thin and light hair. Using  Various Depth technology, laser works the hair follicle itself, resulting in exceptional results.

Exclusive Count Mode

Energy is accumulated gradually, so even thin hair is removed safely:

  • The heat builds up gradually

  • The hair follicle heats up slowly

  • A light warmth is felt, similar to that felt during a massage

  • Energy can be broken down into 1-7 sessions

Strong cooling system 

The highly cooling sapphire nozzle and Moving Scan technology ensure the comfort of the hair removal procedure for the patient. If the patient wishes or works with extremely sensitive skin, the third level of cooling can be selected - an additional supply of cold air. Velux means optimal comfort and maximum efficiency.
